Experience the thrills of the flight industry! In this summer camp, participants learn how physics carries planes, communicate on official radio channels, navigate from the air, and prepare an airplane for flight. On campus, campers will have the opportunity to operate a real flight simulator used by pilots in training. The week caps off with a visit to the Springbank Airport to explore a Cessna 172 airplane and explore airport operations. For those who want to continue learning after the camp, this experience provides a foundation for starting flight training toward a Private Pilot Licence.

Note: the field trip to the Springbank Airport is weather dependent. Campers will be provided an MRU Camps t-shirt for ease of identification during offsite trips Partnered with MRU Aviation Program
